# Set Up Disney+ on Smart TVs and Streaming Devices

> Install and activate Disney+ on Samsung, LG, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, PlayStation, Xbox, and other popular TVs and streaming devices.

You can watch Disney+ on most modern smart TVs, streaming sticks, and game consoles. The general steps are to install the Disney+ app, open it, and either log in directly or activate it with a code at [disneyplus.com/begin](https://www.disneyplus.com/begin).

## Device-specific setup guides

    1. Press the **Home** button on your Samsung remote.
    2. Open the **Apps** tab and search for **Disney+**.
    3. Select **Install** and wait for the download to finish.
    4. Open Disney+ and choose **Log In**.
    5. Either enter your email and password with the on-screen keyboard or select **Log In with Code** and visit [disneyplus.com/begin](https://www.disneyplus.com/begin).

    1. Press the **Home** button on your LG Magic Remote.
    2. Open the **LG Content Store** and search for **Disney+**.
    3. Select the app and choose **Install**.
    4. Launch Disney+ and log in or activate with a begin code.

    1. From the home screen, open **Google Play Store** or the **Apps** tab.
    2. Search for **Disney+** and select **Install**.
    3. Open the app and sign in or activate using [disneyplus.com/begin](https://www.disneyplus.com/begin).

    1. Press the **Home** button on your Roku remote.
    2. Scroll to **Streaming Channels** and open the **Channel Store**.
    3. Search for **Disney+** and select **Add Channel**.
    4. Launch the channel and log in or use a begin code.

    1. From the Fire TV home screen, select **Find** and then **Search**.
    2. Type **Disney+** and select the app from results.
    3. Choose **Download** or **Get**.
    4. Open Disney+ and log in or activate with a code.

    1. Open the **App Store** from the Apple TV home screen.
    2. Search for **Disney+** and select **Get** to install.
    3. Open the app. On Apple TV, you can also use a saved password from your Apple ID keychain.

    1. Go to the **PlayStation Store** from the home screen.
    2. Search for **Disney+** and select **Download**.
    3. Open the app from your library.
    4. Log in with your email and password or activate using a begin code.

    2. Search for **Disney+** and select **Install**.

  <Accordion title="Chromecast and AirPlay">
    You can also cast Disney+ from your phone or computer to a TV.

    **Chromecast:**

    1. Make sure your phone and Chromecast are on the same Wi-Fi network.
    2. Open the Disney+ app on your phone and tap the **Cast** icon.
    3. Select your Chromecast device and choose a title to play.

    **AirPlay:**

    1. Connect your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV.
    2. Open Disney+ and tap the **AirPlay** icon.
    3. Select your TV from the list.

## General tips

<Tip>
  If your TV or device is older and does not support the Disney+ app, you can still watch by connecting a streaming stick (like Roku, Fire TV, or Chromecast) or by casting from your phone.

<Note>
  Some older smart TV models no longer receive app updates and may not support Disney+. Check your device manufacturer's website for compatibility details.
